LCpl Davis figured he would enjoy the recent "Sand fall" and perform the ever so difficult Sand Angel.

Merry Christmas David, Can't wait till next Christmas ,when all of you
will be home with your families. Talked with Kris and the boys just alittle
while ago, and they sounded great ..They miss you and so do we. I
am going to e-mail you and try to send a picture or two. If I figure out how!
Have a very Merry Christmas and we love you. You are in our hearts and
prayers always.

Merry Christmas "Snow Angel".Wishing you and your compatriots many more.I see being from the "Lil' Florida" area of Virginia (because of its sandy soil) you feel somewhat at home. We raise great tomatoes and better Marines.
Keep your head down Marine....Dad

Okay , can someone please answer this question. Are any of the native Iraqis celebrating Christmas?

Im Vietnamese and Catholic . Im Vietnam Christmas is not celebrated like in the states. Christmas was the day Christ was borne. Chinese New Year is when there is festivities and family gatherings.

Nothing particularly inspirational just a suggestion to the photographers. Could you use your flash as a 'fill in' when your subject is in shadow, i.e. more light behind them than in front, that's why you loose important facial details of expression. You'll be pleased at the improvement in quality of the image. Your subject might even be happy too. Your images are of historical value. They could well appear in history texts for the next 100 years or so. If anyone wants to talk photo technique my class meets Monday to Friday in room A-18 from 3:30 to 5 or1530hr to 1700. Burbank High/ 3500 Florin Rd. Sac. CA. 95823. baba p.s. Front row seating guaranteed. Wed 4-Jan-2006 03:35
