Update: The main body Marines are starting to show now. The advanced party Marines are working with us now. I think they are ready to take over as we are as well. The weather here the past couple of days has been rainy and the sun has actually popped out today. Its a bit chilly in the morning but by lunch time its feels like a nice Spring day. We are now under two weeks for coming home, everyone is excited and ready....I know I am---->

Dave

Many prayers for safe travels home. ...and may the Shannon (IAP) duty free and pub stay open for you all! Congratulations and stay safe.

The advon was covered by channel 13 (http://www.wvec.com/news/military/stories/031205cccawvechmm774.12eac6fdc.html).

It was great to work with you all in Al Asad. Please tell Scrammy I said hello!

Whoopee!!!! Now it's a daily countdown instead of a weekly one!!! Can't wait for all of you to get home safe and sound and run into the welcoming arms of your loved ones. We will all be giving a big sigh of relief when your feet touch down in Norfolk.

Thank God for all of you and your service to our Country. God bless all of you and God bless America!!

Love, Hugs and Kisses to you, Dave (XOXO) from your mama-in-law.

A job well done. God bless each and everyone of you for the sacrifice of being away from your families. To the families, thank you for your bravery of everyday life without your loved ones....

I have been asked if I am going to have available all the pictures I have posted when I get back. Currently to date I have posted about 2100 pictures here on the Fotopage. I have in my files just over 4,000 pictures, just under 4 gigs worth. What I would like to do when I get back is go through all my pictures and clean them up a bit and then put them on a DVD recordable disk and make them available for any one who wants one.

The end is near but the mission is not over. The Marines here are very excited about coming home and are still working hard as we still have a mission to perform up untill its time to leave.

Counting the "DAYS"....

Dave

Glad to see you all made it okey, don't forget the Moonlighters new fotopage which overlaps yours http://phrogs4ever.fotopages.com, has a good picture of you Dave Thu 10-Mar-2005 07:02

Hey Gunny Huffman ,

I've heard that my husband LCPL Green has a dislocated wing Could you please visually confirm this for me? I just want to make sure I have all the proper "supplies" and information needed to take care of him when he gets home. Thank you so much.

David-

Looks like I'm just going to miss you. Tried to send you an e-mail to your address out there, but it kept bouncing back to me. I take that as a "coming home soon" sign! Maybe I'll see you on this side of the ocean... Take care and have a safe fligh home.
